A Technical Delivery Lead will join the customer-facing Solutions Integration and Delivery Team. You will report to a Technical Delivery Manager and lead a team of Integration, QA, and DevOps Engineers driving the successful delivery of the platform to new and existing customers. If you like building a strong team, with a focus on delivery efficiency, quality and improvements then this is a fantastic opportunity for you to get involved in a key area of strategic importance.

Responsibilities of a Technical Delivery Lead: 

  • Line management, of a small to medium engineering team composed of Senior Integration, Integration, QA, and DevOps engineers.
  • Responsible for successfully taking the reference Sportsbook product (delivered by Product Development teams), configuring it for the customer, delivering any customer-specific integrations, QA and providing the build to be deployed to Production.
  • Senior stakeholder liaison in the customer’s organization surrounding product delivery.
  • Lead shaping software engineering practices and processes on a team working in various flavors of Agile.
  • Measuring and driving delivery and quality improvement through the capture and analysis of metrics.
  • Provision of technical input into Project Management and Account Management.
  • Planning, implementation, and evolution of technical processes and feedback to the wider company.
  • Accountable for the quality of the implementation and deployment of development work.
  • Accountable for the security, capacity, stability, and performance of the system.
  • Motivating and driving the team with technical leadership and vision.

If you are the right Technical Delivery Lead for us, you will be able to demonstrate: 

  • Strong engineering pedigree acquired during a previous hands-on development or Integration role.
  • Good managerial and leadership skills, proven ability to motivate and lead teams.
  • Desire to drive change and improvements to make a difference and evolve the way the team works.
  • Able to handle difficult situations and conversations both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work as part of a senior management group leading the team.
  • Proven communication and presentation skills.
  • Dealing with change daily. You should be comfortable both with external factors driving this change as well as internals.
  • Being opinionated. Especially about quality and driven to empirically demonstrate improvements introduced.
